Taljai Pachgaon Parvati Udyan has become a special attraction for tourists. Very dense bushes, big big trees as well as many different vines can be seen here. The name of Taljai Hill is derived from Taljai Mata Devi, the idol of this goddess is found in the back pond, hence the name Taljai Devasthan and Taljai Udyan Hill. A big festival is celebrated here in Navratri, the goddess is worshiped in different forms for nine days and Homahavan is performed on the ninth day. Devotees from the surrounding area visit the temple in large numbers. There are 4-5 open gym in Sampun Taljai area and Swami Ramdev Baba Sports Complex and Swimming Pool. These facilities are provided by Pune Municipal Corporation. 

 It attracts reserved migratory birds and is home to peacocks. So this place is popular among amateur bird watchers. And a recent study by ornithologists concluded that the lake at Taljai is dying due to dumping of plastic waste. The park is open to visitors from 5 to 10 in the morning and from 4:30 to 7:00 in the evening. There is also a magnificent Sadu Shinde Cricket Stadium for cricket lovers and a jogging track for morning walks. You will see beautiful and green grass carpets here, the garden is designed in a very beautiful and attractive way.
